Dr. Christopher Rex
MD, FAAD - CEO & CMO of Peak Dermatology
Dr. Rex’s extensive training and experience in all aspects of dermatology, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, enables him to educate his patients on various conditions and offer multiple options as solutions. Dr. Rex’s level of care is the difference.
Cami Alexander
MSN, FNP-BC
Cami Alexander, MSN, FNP-C, has been providing care for over 10 years in both outpatient and hospital settings. She is a graduate from Grand Canyon University, with a Bachelor and Master’s of Science in Nursing. Board Certified with The American Academy for Nurse Practitioners. She has continued education with dermatology focus and facial aesthetics. Dermatology has become her passion through the time and growth in her career. She finds great joy providing compassionate care in the community she serves. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sporting events, and adventuring in the great outdoors.
Matthew Lamca
PA-C
Matthew Lamca spent the majority of his childhood in Peru. He graduated from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona. He received his Masters degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He enjoys medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He loves educating patients on their conditions and having them walk away with a greater understanding of their condition. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and spending time with his family.
April Matthews
FNP-C
April has been practicing in the field of medicine for 27 years, first as a Respiratory Therapist, then a critical care nurse and now a Family Nurse practitioner with Urgent Care experience. During that time her passion to help the community continued to grow, and she is now specializing in Dermatology. She is also certified in Obesity Medicine from OMA. She has been a resident in Visalia for the past 30 years. With her unique blend of creativity, expertise, and passion, she is poised to leave a lasting impact on the world.
Rose Brady
RT
Rose Brady is a Radiation Therapist as well as a Radiology Technologist who has been working in the cancer field for over 20 years. She was born in Southern California but has lived most of her life in Northen California. Although she is a California girl, she has not lived in California for over 30 years and has traveled and lived in several states with her husband and children prior to moving back to California in 2015. She is married to her husband of 41 years and has two daughters and 4 grandchildren. She has worked in several different Radiation Oncology departments through the years working on several different types of Linear Accelerator machines, a Cyberknife and now a Superficial Radiation unit. Prior to coming to work for Peak Dermatology, she had been working for Kaweah Health as a Manager at Kaweah Health Imaging and Breast Center as well as Sequioa Regional Cancer Center in the Radiation Oncology department. Rose Brady is excited to return to her first love, patient care, and is looking forward to serving the community with dedication and compassionate patient care.
Eric Vohs
FNP-C
Eric Vohs is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over nine years of healthcare experience. He began his career as a nurse, working for six years before advancing to become a nurse practitioner. Eric gained nearly three years of experience in primary care before transitioning into the field of dermatology, where his interest in skin health and disease prevention has deepened. He holds both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Grand Canyon University. Eric is dedicated to continuous learning and providing his patients with the highest quality of care in dermatology.
In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to new places, and staying active in his faith community. His faith is central to his life, inspiring him to serve others through both his work and mission efforts, where he seeks to make a meaningful impact.
Cassandra Baum
RT
As a dedicated radiation therapist with over 3 years of experience, Cassandra is committed to providing compassionate care to cancer patients throughout her radiation therapy journey. Skilled in utilizing advanced technology and precise treatment delivery, Cassandra has prioritized patient comfort and education while collaborating closely with the oncology team to achieve optimal treatment outcomes. Cassandra’s expertise lies in tailoring treatment plans to individual needs, ensuring patients feel supported and informed throughout their treatment process.
Education
Cassandra Baum attended Ivy Tech University in Valparaiso Indiana where she achieved her associate’s degree in science specializing in EKG and Dementia Care in May of 2018. Cassandra went on to further her education by enrolling in the Radiation Therapy program at Indiana University Northwest in Gary Indiana where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree with the concentration in Radiation Therapy in May of 2019.
Experience:
After graduation and passing boards, Cassandra’s first experience was a full-time position as a Radiation therapist at 21st Century Oncology, soon to be Genesis Care in Naples, FL. from 2020 until late 2021., Cassandra decided to move back to Arizona in 2021 and took a position at. Arizona Oncology Network in Casa Grande, AZ. From 2021 Until. 2024. Recently Cassandra has dove into the Dermatology side of radiation by taking on the role of a radiation therapist with Peak Dermatology and Sensus using the SRT in treating skin cancer and Keloid Scars. This is a whole new experience for Cassandra, and she is looking forward to the education and experiences this new journey brings.
Abbey Morren
FNP-C
Abbey grew up in the Central Valley, but chose to pursue her dream of a career in medicine by attending a small college in Grand Rapids, Michigan. After graduating with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, she moved back to Visalia to begin her nursing career. She spent 8 years working as a bedside nurse in Critical Care before deciding to further her education to become a Nurse Practitioner. In 2019 she graduated with honors from Fresno Pacific University with her Masters in Nursing, and gained experience in Urgent Care and ENT until she was led to Dermatology. She looks forward to serving her community in both medical dermatology and aesthetics, providing top quality care to help achieve Peak Skin and Peak Confidence. ⭐️
